RECTOR'S SCHOLARSHIP
Colegio de San Juan de Letran provides an opportunity for academically outstanding students to pursue
their education through the Rector’s Scholarship Program. The Program is part of Letran’s commitment
to academic excellence and dedication to outstanding scholastic achievement.
ELIGIBILITY
Only freshmen students of the following courses are eligible to apply for the Program:
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
- Bachelor of Arts in Communication
- Bachelor in Secondary Education
CRITERIA / QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify, the student-applicant shall:
- Belong to the top 10% of the graduating batch, as certified by the Principal or the Registrar.
- Pass Letran’s Entrance Exams and the Rector’s Scholarship qualifying examinations given by the Colegio.
- Pass the interview administered by the scholarship committee with the respective academic heads.
- Be of good moral character as certified by the High School Principal/ Guidance Counselor.

The Rector’s scholars shall enjoy the following:
- Full discount on tuition, miscellaneous, and various fees
- Monthly allowance
RETENTION POLICY
To maintain scholarship, the Rector’s scholars must:
- Have a general weighted average (GWA) of 95 with no grade lower than 88.
- Be an officer or active member of any recognized organization in the Colegio.
- Be an active member of the Colegio’s and/or Department’s outreach programs.
- Be involved in academic research.
- Have not been subjected to any disciplinary action.
